  Gourmet Grocery Store and a Burlington Institution for more than 25 years The Butcher shop I think is arguably the best in the city. All produce is always top notch. Staff all friendly and helpful. The regular grocery items ( paper towels, regular soap etc) at the large chain may be a little less. But if I shopped there, I would have a to make a special trip back to Marilu's to buy my meat/produce/ and many specialty items I can not live without.

  This is my go to place, specifically for the great variety of fresh butcher counter options. A bit on the expensive side so I would not recommend for everyday groceries. Produce, bakery and butcher sections are great.

  Always FANTASTIC!! Always make a special trip to Marilu's at least once a week. Your produce, delli and meat is # 1. NO other grocery chain comes anywhere close to you. I LOVE Marilu's.

  Better produce than the big chain grocery stores. Carries some specialty items you can't find elsewhere in the area. Employees seem to care about customers and the store. Most items are slightly more expensive, and there's somewhat less selection because of the store's size.
